Seeing the opportunity to boost excitement and the value of the Dublin visitor experience, Dublin Town asked WOW Marketing to develop and deliver excitement and atmosphere across the city on Sundays through July and August 2024.
We responded with a series of street festivals designed to engage, enthral and excite visitors from home and abroad. A rich cultural mix was key to the excitement with Irish dancing, painting, brass bands, arial gymnastic displays, samba and much, much more.
The events were a huge success for Dublin Town and our city visitors.
“Dublin city Sunday afternoons in the Summer are filled with tourists/ locals and Dubliners. We wanted to add something more to Summer in Dublin, we wanted to celebrate culture, both local and international.
The Blink group was tasked with putting together a line-up of high-end music, arts, dance and visually pleasing performers.
Their creative team came back with a first-class proposal and the event was signed off and activated every Sunday for July and August.
What the team delivered was exceptional. We had brass bands, Trad music, Samba dancers, Artists, acrobats and musicians. The sense of fun and carnival atmosphere was electric each and every Sunday.
